Every sailing has one night where the whole ship transforms. Everyone wears red. The pool deck becomes a dance floor. Fire shows, DJs, performers — it goes late and it goes hard. Even if you're not a party person, go experience the beginning. The energy is unlike anything else at sea.

The thermal suite alone is worth a day pass. Mud room, salt room, cold plunge pools, hydrotherapy jets, heated stone loungers, and a relaxation area where you can stare at the ocean and do absolutely nothing productive. Group fitness classes are free — yoga on the deck at sunrise is the move.

The pool deck is the heart of the ship. By day, it's loungers and cocktails and music. By afternoon, the DJ turns up and the energy shifts. Hot tubs, a swim-up bar vibe (at the Athletic Club), and deck space that actually feels designed for adults who want to relax. No towel wars, no splash zones, no fighting for chairs at dawn.

Most cabins are Sea Terraces: balcony, hammock, mood lighting, and an excellent shower. Yes, a hammock on the balcony. Reading in it while the ship crosses open ocean is one of the most relaxing things you'll ever do. The mood lighting has a tablet by the bed — play with it. And the shower? Actual water pressure, great products, and a setup that's surprisingly well thought out.
